Through joint partnerships and cooperation between Brimfield Township, the Portage Development Board, the Portage County Port Authority, City of Tallmadge, several township, city and county offices and TeamNEO/JobsOhio. InSite Real Estate and Rubbermaid Inc. constructed an 811,200 square foot Brimfield Township. This project took place in the Brimfield/Tallmadge JEDD. The building will be leased to Rubbermaid Inc. Rubbermaid also purchased and installed over $16,000,000 in new machinery/equipment and inventory. The total amount of the project was projected to be $42,437,979 with 79 employees. That amount was surpassed and is currently at $56,276,316 and over 200 employees. This project used $23,900,000 in Port Authority Bonds.
