Join us at the in-person 2022 Portage County Business Roundtable where this presentation’s theme is Who’s Going to Own Your Business Next? Learn about the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) at Kent State University’s work helping business owners plan for succession.
Every business owner will one day exit their business – what’s going to happen when you do? This last step of your entrepreneurial journey can challenge what you think you know, about the business and about yourself. This introductory session will introduce ownership succession concepts and strategies, and help you develop a process for getting started and achieving your goals.
Our keynote speaker is Chris Cooper, Director of the Ohio Employee Ownership Center at Kent State University, where he works with business owners as they explore succession options, including employee ownership. During this program, you will learn how the OEOC can help you:
