A new $20 million, 34,400 square foot building was constructed to house the Institutional Advancement offices and the Kent State University Foundation. The new building will house a 28-station call center, conference rooms and event space for use by the university and community. Ground was broken in the fall of 2014 on the 3.75 acres adjacent to the campus at the corner of Summit and Lincoln Streets. The Port Authority acquired the property through bonds issued and is leasing the property to Kent State University.
